With the launch of the Channel Store NBCNews channel, all NBC content was removed from Newscaster. Basically, Roku Newscaster was “neutered” by our friends at NBC due to licensing and legal issues.
Mediafly, however, has all the Roku Newscaster NBC favorites under the Popular Video Channels. Rachael Maddow Show, NBC Nightly News, Mad Money, Morning Joe, Fast Money and MUCH MORE! Not only do you have the latest current episode, but past episodes are archived.
Browsing the popular video channel. One can find additional programming categories: children (Sesame Street), business, cars (Speed), comedy, science, technology and more.
With Mediafly & Nowhere TV, one can minimize this Roku Newscaster recent FAIL.

Update: 12.6.11 – All NBC content has been removed from Newscaster with the release NBC News channel. However, the Roku blog is commenting that the content on the NBC News channel is “neutered” with no complete shows.
Check out private channel NowhereTV for your NBC nightly news fix – same developer- same original Roku Newscaster feeds – not “neutered”. YET – that is.

Over 10,000 of the best indie films of all lengths and genres
I am not going to verify if the “over 10,000″ statement is true. However, I can say there are MANY independent films available for viewing in the Film categories, Editor’s Picks and Channels. Stream quality is excellent. Openfilm has just become one of my favorites in My Channels. Thumbs up!
